Christian Science heals spiritually. Medical science heals materially. Mixing the two methods only weakens the other method of healing, so in using both you actually are not getting better results, but are taking power away from each method.
Christian Scientists do not educate themselves about disease and other physical problems because it puts the emphasis on the material body, and takes away from the spiritual viewpoint. The best way to understand Christian Science healing would be to talk to a Christian Science practitioner or attend a church service or lecture.
You are also invited to visit any Christian Science Reading Room to find verified testimonies of healing, often by medical doctors, of everything from warts, colds, vision problems, deafness to diabetes, cancer, heart disease and AIDS. Christian Science also heals relationships, loss of income, grief, lack of supply, stress, accidents, and has proven a powerful help to students, business people and those with addictions.
All testimonies are verified by three people before being published. There is a historical record of approximately 80,000 healings through the Christian Science Publishing Society.

Christian Science Healing Testimonies
There are thousands of recorded healings in the Bible and in Christian Science publications. Many Christian Science healings have occurred by simply reading the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. This healing book is Eddy’s main body of work and a companion to the Bible. It contains sections on Genesis and Revelation, and is part of the Christian Science Weekly Bible Lesson. It also includes a chapter called Fruitage, featuring healing testimonies.
You will find a lot of love and support for your spiritual journey at any of our Churches or Reading Rooms. Churches hold services twice weekly, including a healing testimony meeting on Wednesdays.
Reading rooms are open at various hours depending on the location. We love visitors and are available to answer questions and offer resources, including Bible study lessons and publications from the Christian Science Publishing Society.
