Volunteers joined in a Reading Room Gathering to think together about reading rooms loving our neighbors. The event was hosted by First Church of Christ, Scientist, San Diego.
Volunteers from Christian Science churches in San Diego county, as well as from Los Angeles and Laguna Beach gathered in San Diego to talk about the healing mission of reading rooms and how they can bless their communities.
It was an all day event with lunch provided.
The event was organized by The Mother Church in Boston and branches in San Diego County. The Mother Church hosts were Janet Sappenfield and Ariana Herlinger who shared examples of reading rooms around the world, loving and supporting their communities.
