4th Sunday Church Services in Orange County 2026
Enjoy loving camaraderie at Christian Science services in Orange County throughout 2026. Every month, on the fourth Sunday, you and your friends will have the opportunity to visit a different Orange County Christian Science Church for an afternoon service at 4:00 p.m. Pick up the colorful flyer each month with that month’s information, and on the back is a schedule for the entire year. Come for the service, the music, the fellowship! The afternoon service is a repetition of the morning service.
The first/next service is (fill in the date and location listed on the back of the event flyer) Sunday, February 22nd at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Newport Beach. There will be refreshments, and following the service, the Reading Room will also be open. See you on the 22nd (insert date), and don’t forget to get a flyer!

Meeting friends and community in an atmosphere of love and acceptance is a cherished part of Christian Science church services. During 2026, on the fourth Sunday of each month, one Christian Science Church in Orange County will host an afternoon service at 4:00 p.m. We invite you to pick up a flyer and join in any or all of these one-hour services. Each church in Orange County has committed to hosting an afternoonservice on the 4th Sunday of the month that they have chosen so everyone can get to know each other better throughout the year, a goal established by the OC Churches Planning Committee. Flyers with the year’s schedule are on the display table.

Reading Room. Today, our members invite you to join us for refreshments on the deck following the service, and then tour our
Reading Room located at (insert location), about four blocks north. Directions to the Reading Room are also on the display
table.
(Use if applicable) You have undoubtedly noticed our Zoom screen which we use for every service. On Wednesday evenings, those on Zoom may also offer testimonies by raising the hand icon on their screen for our Reader to see and call on them. Again, welcome to (Insert name of church)!
Lecture for Young People – January 24, 2025
An upcoming youth talk with Alexandre Fischer, entitled “Jesus as a Role Model for Living and Healing” will be livestreamed on Saturday, January 24th at 11 a.m. A 30-minute talk will explore how Jesus’ teachings continue to be a practical model for spiritual living today. 150th Anniversary of Science and Health
(1) She couldn’t vote, own property, or hold custody of her own child, but 150 years ago, challenging the norms of a man’s world, Mary Baker Eddy wrote a startling book that outlined the science found in Christianity. Help us celebrate that book’s 150th znniversary by sharing Science and Health’s during 2025. Ribbon packets of three books are on the table available for a steeply discounted price. (2) While Jesus Christ performed countless healings, many recorded in the New Testament of The Bible, he didn’t leave any written rules on how the healings were performed. Mary Baker Eddy’s book – Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures – laid out guidance for how to heal the way Jesus did, and it became the basis for the Christian Science denomination. To celebrate the 150th year since Eddy’s book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, was published, our Reading Room is offering packets of three, tied with a blue ribbon, at a very special price.
