Cedars Camps: “Engaging the Spiritual Seeker Within All of Us: Sunday School & Beyond” Conference

Calling those who love youth, youthful thinking, the Bible, and Christian Science Sunday School.
Join us for a weekend focused on the needs of youth in today’s rapidly changing world. Anchored in the understanding that we all have a valuable role to play in responding to the needs of young people in our communities, this weekend will be rich with sessions that deepen our love, bolster our prayers, grow our capacities, and inspire our actions.
It’s also about invigorating our own practice of Christian Science and love of church with a sense of honest seeking and finding. The conference will include presentations, conversations, and workshops inspired by the passage: “Whatever inspires with wisdom, Truth, or Love — be it song, sermon, or Science — blesses the human family with crumbs of comfort from Christ’s table, feeding the hungry and giving living waters to the thirsty” (Science and Health p. 234:4).

- Teaching the Scriptures: a Biblical overview, Jesus as a teacher, and fostering a lifelong relationship with the Bible
- The six tenets of Christian Science and their roots in the Bible: helping students be confident sharing Christian Science

- Insights from current Sunday School students and recent grads
- Hymn sings, praise, and songwriting opportunities
A virtual option is also available, both for individuals and branch churches.
