The Science of Christianity challenges conventional views of prayer, presenting it not as blind faith, but as a scientific understanding of God’s ever-present love. Drawing from Jesus’ teachings in the Bible, as well as personal experiences practicing Christian Science, Emra illustrates how prayer can bring tangible healing and transformation. Prayer, combined with a law-based approach to spirituality, can be both practical and provable.
Emra is a Christian Science practitioner and teacher from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. She has a background in art and music, and has devoted her life to helping others. The talk was sponsored by Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, Long Beach, CA.
