National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday in May

This observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.” Save the date and find a Day of Prayer event in your community. It’s a wonderful way to meet members and leaders of faith communities in your area.

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is hosting its 26th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at California Lutheran University‘s Gilbert Sports Center in Thousand Oaks from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with the theme “Hope” and keynote speaker Andrew Whitworth.
