Christian Science Sunday School is a youth church for young people. It’s a natural place to feel close to God, good. It’s a space for children and teens to learn about the Bible and the teachings of Jesus, and how they relate to what’s happening now.
Sunday School gives youth the spiritual foundation they need to succeed in life.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

What happens in Sunday School?
Young people can ask questions in a safe, open and non-judgmental space as they grapple with their day-to-day lives. Important lessons based on the Bible equip students to face the world and apply what they are learning. Christian Science gives students a strong foundation, enabling them to grow in patience, kindness and spirituality. What they are learning enriches their own well-being and empowers them to make a positive impact on others.
Sunday School teachers work with students on applying ideas from the weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson. The lessons contain Bible stories and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures quotes relating to Scripture. These spiritual ideas learned in this youth church help students tackle everyday problems for one hour each week. This is valuable time spent discussing inspiring ways to view love, happiness, success, and health.
Help young people feel close to God
Children and teens can learn how to feel close to God and discover that prayer can help them in their daily lives. In this youth church, students discuss practical applications of prayer to school work, getting along with others, dealing with competition, healing sports injuries, and much more. They learn how to pray for themselves, their friends, their family, and the world.
Younger students love to learn about God, the Ten Commandments, Lord’s Prayer, and Bible stories with people like Joseph, Moses, and Jesus. Older students explore deeper topics, such as their relationship with their Father-Mother God and the teachings of the Beatitudes in Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.
Try to leave on every student’s mind the strong impress of divine Science, a high sense of the moral and spiritual qualifications requisite for healing, well knowing it to be impossible for error, evil, and hate to accomplish the grand results of Truth and Love.

You are invited to visit a Sunday School at a Christian Science Church in your area. Classes are open to students of all faiths up to the age of twenty. Parents and caregivers can attend church at the same time as youth church. Child care for younger children may also be available as well.
Helping your children feel close to God is one of the greatest gifts you can give them.
