January 6 to January 12 – In Christian Science, Sacrament Sunday is a time for deep spiritual reflection and communion with God. Rather than involving traditional rituals or physical symbols, the sacrament is observed through prayer, self-examination, and a commitment to live in harmony with Christ’s teachings.
Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
Leviticus 19:2
“One’s aim, a point beyond faith, should be to find the footsteps of Truth, the way to health and holiness.”
Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures p. 241:23–24
This Bible Lesson on Sacrament is the focal point of Sunday services at Christian Science Churches in Southern California and around the world. You are always welcome. Church services are a quiet time for prayer and reflection, and we have Sunday School classes for children and teens. Each church has a Christian Science Reading Room where you can read or purchase the weekly Bible Lesson in a number of formats, including an easy-to-read full-text booklet and an audio edition.
You are invited to listen to the weekly Bible Lesson on Sacrament, inspiring podcasts with testimonies of healing in English and Spanish, and a daily lift (weekdays) on our Southern California phone line. Call any time day or night and be motivated, uplifted and inspired whether you are on the go or want a quiet moment.
