Rebuilding Trust Replay

Listen to insights from Christian Science Monitor editors and correspondents on rebuilding trust

On June 27, more than 160 community members gathered at the Newport Beach Civic Center to hear a panel of editors and correspondents from The Christian Science Monitor talk about value-based reporting and the Monitor’s “Rebuilding Trust” project.

You are invited to watch the Rebuilding Trust replay and read ongoing articles on the topic of trust. You will be touched by the panelists’ personal experiences and insights on how trust can bring connection and hope to help us find common ground in challenging times.

The “Rebuilding Trust” project explores through global news stories how polarized parties are navigating times of mistrust and how to build trust in each other. Building trust is key to ending bitterness, bridging divides, mending rifts and bringing hope to the downtrodden.

Step by step will those who trust Him find that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 444:10)

Rebuilding Trust replay focuses on values

Over the Christian Science Monitor’s 110-year history, it has built a legacy of high-quality, distinctive journalism because its editors and correspondents recognize that news is more than facts. It’s the story of how we are each trying to make our homes, communities, and nations better. What matters are the values and ideals like rebuilding trust that drive us, not just the who, what, when, and where of the news.
