A Recipe for Grace
Grace: the freely given, unmerited favor and love of God. This definition of grace is from Dictionary.com under theology.
We could simply call
this “God’s grace.”
Some might say that accepting God’s grace is a personal journey, that can bring immense happiness, a warm heart and peace to our lives. Sometimes it may seem that we are lacking something, or that the world could use some grace. However, if you are depending on God’s grace for your everyday needs, you may find you have a fulfilling life. It all starts with a simple recipe. Combine a lot of love, a bit of joy, smidgen of grace and unending gratitude for a winning recipe.
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
1 Chronicles 1:3, 4
Uplifting Book
This Bible verse about grace is included in our Thanksgiving sermon, along with readings from the healing textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, is the author and this quote is found in her book.
What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds. To keep the commandments of our Master and follow his example, is our proper debt to him and the only worthy evidence of our gratitude for all that he has done.
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 4:3–9

Eddy worked tirelessly to bring grace, love and joy to those around her through establishing the Christian Science church. Her recipe for healing is included in this book and it is available to all. Many people have been healed of all kinds of problems just by reading it. Christian Scientists study the Bible and this book with its spiritual sense of the Scriptures. It is part of all church services.
