SUMMARY:Celebrating National Bible Week
DESCRIPTION:Our church joins in celebrating National Bible Week which begins the Sunday before Thanksgiving each year. You are invited to visit a Christian Science Reading Room where you will find a selection of Bibles and Bible reference books. Find a Reading Room. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have a weekly Bible Lesson which is the focal point of our Sunday church services. Church near me. The Bible Lesson includes Bible verses and related passages from our textbook\, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. These two books serve as the Pastor of our church. \n\n\n\n“We take the inspired word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal life.” This is the first of six important points or religious tenets of Christian Science. They share the essence of our faith\, a religion based on the Bible and Jesus’ healings and teachings. Tenets \n\n\n\nU.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt commemorated the word of God by observing the first National Bible Week in 1941.
